Art exhibition by Jan Kjetil Bjørheim at Fotland Mølle

 Fotland Mølle , Time municipality, Norway - We are pleased to invite you to the opening of a new art exhibition with works by the artist Jan Kjetil Bjørheim. The exhibition takes place in the historic premises at Fotland Mølle and opens next Sunday 23 June at 12:00.
 Jan Kjetil Bjørheim, has been ill with ME for some time, and has therefore been away from exhibition activities for several years. There is therefore great joy attached to this first opening, which is for Bjørheim a confirmation that he is getting stronger and stronger, and is enormously grateful, excited, eager that life and art have high value.
 Now that life is getting difficult and there is also a lot going on in the wider world, it is even more important for me to create good, vital images that give hope. Much of my art is devoted to this issue, says Bjørheim
 He is a diverse artist living in Høg-Jæren, Undheim, and has focused on abstract painting in recent years. Bjørheim explores color and form as an expression of emotions and bodily movements. His artwork has been exhibited internationally, and he has contributed significantly to the art landscape in South-West Norway.
 The exhibition at Fotland Mølle will present Bjørheim's latest works, where he invites the viewer to immerse himself in his complex and colorful paintings. Through the brushstrokes, the movements and feelings that have characterized his artistic journey are captured. The exhibition also gives an insight into his use of natural elements and how he integrates these into his abstract compositions.
 Fotland Mølle, built in 1845 and beautifully situated by Fotlandsfossen, is a perfect setting for Bjørheim's art. The restored buildings today function as a museum and exhibition space, which gives a unique atmosphere to the art. The area around Fotlandsfossen has a long history linked to mill and mill operations.
 Everyone is welcome to the opening of this exciting exhibition. It will be a great opportunity to meet the artist himself and experience his works in the historic surroundings at Fotland Mølle.

 Footland Mill:
 Fotland Mølle, built in 1845, is idyllically located by Fotlandsfossen, the largest waterfall on Jæren. The restored buildings are today a museum and exhibition space for art. The area by Fotlandsfossen has been linked to mill and mill operations since time immemorial. Fotland Mill was in operation until 1968. In 1995, the mill was reopened as a museum and exhibition space.
